Yanyi

I am Yanyi.  I teach Chinese Mandarin and Cantonese.

I was in finance before I became a stay-at-home mom.  Growing up in China, I was always interested in Chinese literature and foreign languages. When I decided to go back to work part time, I coincidentally got involved in teaching Chinese briefly, and eventually became a freelance interpreter and translator. Through my work, I enjoy meeting and helping people from all walks of life. 

I think language is a science, a form of art, and a powerful tool for human connection.

 

 I hope by working together with the team, I will be able to contribute to the success of TLH in guiding our students through their journey of language learning.
