Fernanda

My name is Fernanda Flores Ríos. I am a Facilitator of Educational Programs at Sacred Heart Center in Richmond, Virginia, where I design and deliver adult education programs that empower immigrants, strengthen their communities, and provide tools to thrive in the United States.

Previously, I served as a consulting geologist in Mexico, managing environmental and geohydrological projects. I also taught at Universidad Politécnica de Piedras Negras.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Geology from Instituto Politécnico Nacional and am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Geosciences. Passionate about lifelong learning, sustainability, and service, I bring scientific rigor, cultural awareness, and a deep commitment to community impact to every role I undertake.
